The cap provides additional protection for the PTFE VTS. which is a thin PTFE vent membrane featuring microscopic pores that allow air and water vapour to pass freely while blocking water droplets, oil mist, dust, and other contaminants. The membrane splines align with the PD mould and need to be affixed using super glue (cyanoacrylate). The caps are suitable for the Rosahl PD and RD membranes.
