Drykeeper
Achieve Long-Term Humidity Stabilisation
Passive 10-Year Humidity Control for Outdoor Enclosures
Drykeeper provides long-term, maintenance-free moisture stabilisation, ensuring optimal performance in challenging environments.
What is Drykeeper?
Drykeeper is a passive, long-life humidity control solution for sealed and unventilated enclosures.
Drykeeper uses a maintenance-free polymer absorber with a typical service life of up to 10 years. The sheet buffers internal humidity by absorbing water vapour when relative humidity is high and releasing it when conditions dry, helping to stabilise enclosure humidity in the 50–60% RH range.
By reducing the absolute humidity in the enclosure, Drykeeper lowers the dew point, preventing condensation on internal surfaces even as temperatures fall.
Why Choose Drykeeper?
Drykeeper stabilises humidity in sealed and unventilated outdoor enclosures to help prevent condensation on electrical and optical and other contents.
Unlike silica gel and other conventional desiccants, which passively absorb moisture until they become saturated, Drykeeper acts as a humidity buffer for up to ten years. It absorbs water vapour when relative humidity (RH) rises and releases it as RH falls, helping to stabilise enclosure humidity in the 50–60% RH range without replacement or regeneration.
By reducing the absolute humidity inside the enclosure, Drykeeper lowers the dew point, preventing condensation even during temperature fluctuations. This creates a consistent, optimal internal environment without the need for electricity or batteries.
Discover how Drykeeper’s environmentally friendly technology delivers maintenance-free humidity control and supports long-term reliability in sealed enclosures.
Drykeeper is ideal for preventing condensation in non-ventilated outdoor enclosures such as electrical control panels, signalling systems, and surveillance equipment. With its wide operational temperature range (–30°C to +90°C) and ability to regenerate below 80°C, it is perfect for use in demanding environments.

Humidity buffering
Drykeeper is not a dehumidifier and does not expel moisture from the enclosure. It absorbs and releases it to stabilise the humidity and keep the system balanced and self-regulating. There are no fans, heaters, power supplies, or control electronics, and no dependency on external conditions. Moreover, unlike silica gel, Drykeeper needs no maintenance or servicing.
Importantly, this makes it suitable for locations where power is unavailable or unreliable.
How Does Drykeeper’s Moisture Stabilisation work?
Drykeeper uses a reversible absorption process. It:
-
Absorbs moisture when humidity is high.
-
Releases moisture when humidity drops.
This unique cycle maintains a stable environment, preventing condensation and protecting sensitive equipment. The product continues to function over extended periods, providing long-term, passive humidity control in a wide range of conditions.
How do I select Drykeeper?
The selection process is simple. You can download a macro-free Excel spreadsheet from our website or send us you parameters and we will make the selection for you. There two tables, one for volumes under five litres and one larger volumes. Both operate in the same way, Being:
- Set the enclosure volume by entering the three dimensions in mm
- Enter the maximum temperature (°C) and relative humidity
- Enter the minimum temperature (°C) and relative humidity
- Add the safety factor you need 150%, 200% or 300%
- Read off the size and number of Drykeeper sheets needed
