Your Guide to Installing and Connecting Rosahl Membranes
Introduction
A Universal Fixing Kit is included with the purchase of a micro-dehumidifier installation and mounting kit. The kits are designed to make the installation and connection of Rosahl membranes straightforward and reliable. By carefully following this guide and observing the safety precautions, you can ensure a successful setup and optimal performance of your micro-dehumidifier system. These kits are also available for purchase separately.

Important Safety Information
Caution: When connecting Rosahl membranes, it is critical to pay close attention to the electrical polarity. Incorrect connections may cause damage to the membrane or the system.
Identifying Polarity
- Some membranes have clearly marked terminals with + (positive) and – (negative) symbols.
- Others may have polarity markings located within the moulded section of the membrane.
Always ensure you verify the polarity and make the correct connections to prevent operational issues.
Connecting to the membranes
Always use push connectors when attaching cables to a Rosahl membrane. Note that the electrical terminals on the M-Series and MDL-Series membranes are different sizes.
All M-series membranes from M-1J1R through to M-10J1R have the same size terminal. The positive terminal (+) is 4.8 mm wide and the negative terminal (-) is a 6.3 mm wide.
For reference, connecting terminals for the M-Series are:
(+) side : TMEDN-480509-FA (NICHIFU Co.,Ltd.) or equivalent
( – ) side : TMEDN-630809-FA (NICHIFU Co.,Ltd.) or equivalent
All MDL-Series from MDL-3 to MDL-7 use the same size terminal connectors. They and both 2.8 mm wide but with different thicknesses. The positive terminal (+) is 2.8 mm wide and 0.5 mm thick. The negative terminal (-) is 2.8 mm wide and 0.8 mm thick. One crimp of each size is included. The thickness of the crimp is stamped on the stem as illustrated.
For reference, connecting terminals for the MDL-Series are:
(+) side uses STO-41T-110N from J.S.T.MFG.CO.,LTD. or equivalent
(-) side uses STO-41T-110N-8 from J.S.T.MFG.CO.,LTD. or equivalent.
MDL positive (+) crimp for 0.5 mm terminal
M-5PKT Fixing Kit
The M-5PKT is supplied as standard with the M-1J1R-SET, M-2J1R-SET, M-3M1R-SET, M-3J1R-SET and MDL-3-SET installation kits.
