Selecting a power supply (PSU) for your Rosahl membrane dehumidifier
Moisture within the dehumidifying membrane can cause high inrush currents on start-up. The manufacturer recommends a constant current limiting PSU with an output current suitable for the rating of the membrane used. However, these are not always available. Fold-back type PSUs may be suitable provided the output voltage does not fall below 1.8V DC during overload conditions. Hiccup mode power supplies are unsuitable unless matched to the membrane inrush current levels.
Features and Specification of LS-Series Switching PSUs
The LS series of 25W and 75W power supplies offer both affordability and reliability with MTBF figures of up to 900,000 hours. The LS has a superior operating performance in ambient temperatures up to +70°C. The series accepts a wide AC input of 88 to 264V and can withstand surges of up to 300Vac for five seconds. The 3V DC output is adjustable and they are RoHS compliant. Select the correct model from the table.

All LS Series power supplies are designed for professional installation and need additional electrical protection and installation by a suitably qualified person to avoid accidental contact or injury from mains voltage electricity (100/200V AC).
