The installation sets provide all the parts necessary for installing a Rosahl M-Series membrane into an enclosure. They include an M Series membrane and gasket, a fixing kit with screws and cable crimps and internal and external cover plates. The sets up to size 3 (models M-1JSET, M-2JSET, M-3MSET, M-3JSET) also include a VREG2 USBC power adapter board with VR2-FMC mounting base.

Minimising mechanical damage to the membrane during installation and use
Two plastic cover plates are included that reduce the risk of accidental mechanical damage to the membrane during and after installation. They are crucial in ensuring the integrity and longevity of the membrane under various conditions.
Material and Design
Both covers are manufactured from durable mid-grey PETG plastic, chosen for its resilience and suitability for demanding environments. The material ensures that the covers not only protect the membrane but also withstand external conditions without compromising their functionality.
Step-by-step Guide for Correct Installation
Preparation
- Ensure that the container or cabinet is airtight for optimal performance. If the enclosure is made of a moisture-permeable material or is not airtight, results may be suboptimal.
- Do not attempt to improve airtightness with silicone-based sealing materials, as the gases released during curing can damage the membrane and reduce its performance.
- Caulk or modified silicone (MS) sealants may be used but must be fully cured before membrane installation.
- Avoid using gaskets containing antioxidants as these can cause crystal formation on the surface of the membrane that reduce performance.
Membrane Installation
- Mount the membrane vertically in the centre of an inner side surface of the container or cabinet using the provided gasket.
- Do not attach the membrane to the top or bottom surfaces.
- Ensure free air circulation around the membrane after installation.
Preparing Installation and Moisture Discharge Holes
- Refer to the provided dimension tables to make the required moisture discharge and installation holes.
- For M-10J1R models, use the separate dimension table provided.
- Insert the included gasket between the membrane and installation plate.
- Secure the ROSAHL membrane using the screws from the fixing kit.

- Ensure all gaskets and sealants are compatible and properly cured prior to installation.

External Cover
